I have double glazed UPVC windows and every morning now the upstairs windows are covered in condensation.

I can't really leave windows open all night in sub zero temperatures - Are there any other ways to prevent this condensation ? If I leave a dehumidifier running all night upstairs should that stop the problem ? .

Hi John

Read your link the causes for condensation in that article are very valid and ok, but what about in the morning when rooms and parts of the house which are not being utilised why would the windows there get condensation?

People will say need ventilation? ventilate what if there is nothing in those areas? e.g wet clothes, cooking, shower area etc...

Because there's still moisture in the air you cannot see, breathing is one of them :!:
