Hi all, after years of trying to overcome condensation and a bit of mould & mildew I have been reading about "Envirovent" anyone got any knowledge or idea's about it. Reg
Yeh, They stick a fan of sorts in your loft and a vent in the ceiling on your stairs - it constantly blows a slow breeze - I had this installed for my mother aswell as a new extractor in the kitchen - the kitchen one is always on and has a built in damp sensor which makes the fan speed up to suck any damp air out the building. They claim both use around £50 electric per year.
Hi SparkoJon, thanks for that, they don't seem that good for the price. I think I will stick to extractor fans. Amazing we fit double glazing and put in insulation up to the rafters to keep the place warm then we put in fans and open windows letting all the heat out to stop the condensation, totally mad. Reg7
