Connecting a tap to mains

HELP!

I am in the process of installing a new sink with taps and I have managed to install two compression tap isolation valves to both hot and cold (see picture) however the monobloc hoses that came with the tap does not fit on the end of these valves, do I need some sort of adaptor or new valves or special hoses to fit them together?

Your help will be greatly appreciated ASAP

The iso. valves you have fitted are meant to screw directly onto the brass tail at the bottom of conventional taps.

The flexi. tails supplied with monobloc taps usually end in compression fittings that fit directly onto pipework.

Both might have the same threads, but they are not designed to fit together. One uses a compression olive, t'other a fibre washer seal.

You could replace your iso. valves with ones with compression fittings both ends, and use two short pieces of pipe to link the valves to the flexis.

Or you could replace both the valves and the flexis with flexis incorporating iso. valves.

The threads are both almost certainly 1/2" BSP (if you remove the nut and olive from the flexis) so should fit together nicely, although as stated above, more by accident than design.
