Connecting Italian Light - not sure how?

I am new here - not sure if this is the right place to ask for help!

I bought a new wall lighte from ScrewFix. An italian made light didtributed by Massive. The instructions are rubbish. I have worked verything out except how to connect the wires to the bulb holder!

There are just two holes - no connection block with screws to tighten?

I am not sure if I am supposed to just push the wires in so that they hold or what? Anyone got any idea or seen this type of fitting before.

Some light fittings don't have screws to tighten down the wires, you do in fact have to push the wires in. But when you do just make sure they are a reasonbly tight fit and don't pop out with the slightest pull.
