Hi,

I have a double pole light switch which is wired to a twin and earth 2.5mm cable. I want to connect an led driver to this cable.

The driver is a dimmable driver, so at some point I may change the switch to a dimming switch but not to start off with.

What would be a sensible way to connect the cable and driver together?

Would something like this be ok...

The cable and driver will be kept above my kitchen cabinets.

You're sure that that is how dimming is controlled?

BTW - ignore any tw@s who pop up banging on about what a driver is, or is not.

It was purchased as such, but now i'm wondering about that.
Here's a picture of it:

That type of driver tends to use a further box between the output and the leds to do the dimming, that extra box is not usually something that can be controlled by a standard mains voltage dimmer
