I'm refitting my kitchen and want to change the sink waste pipework, a 40mm pipe goes from the sink through the wall and into an outside drain at present. I want to remove the outside drain (I've checked and the underground pipe only feeds this drain) then use a pipe boss on the 110mm pipe to connect the new 40mm pipe, then through the wall below ground level and up into the kitchen. I will block off the end of the 110mm pipe with an end cap after removing the drain. Can anyone see any problems with removing the drain and doing this?

Thanks

Rod

yep you connect a 40mm waste to the 110mm above ground not below.
leave the gully drain where it is.
