I have a lean to conservatory with a steep angled roof (pitch ca. 40 degrees). The glass panels are in 2 sections each about 2 metres long, so each section has 4 metres of double glazing, which is pretty heavy, and some of the glass has slipped. The original installer went bust and it's well out of guarantee.
A new company wants to fix this by fitting new glass at a cost of £12,000. The glass is fine as far as I can tell. It just needs jacking back into place and new clips fitting. I hesitate to tackle this because of the weight, but how would a professional do it. Is it a DIY proposition?
