Having a conservatory built and was wondering if the brick work of the conservatory walkshould be against the render of the external wall or that should of been removed and then brick against brick, any help appreciated
Im not sure it matters all that much, the wall starters will fix well to the render.
what is important is that there should be a vertical dpc cut into the house wall -or even better a 50mm slot cut to continue the cavity and stops thermal bridging
If thats omitted then theres risk of damp penetration -especially if the house wall is going to be plastered with bodining and multifinish,
are they doing cavity trays in the house wall where the conservatory roof joins?
