Constant quiet ringing noise in all rooms

@Madrab It's a constant hum kind of ring like the noise the fridge makes but quieter as though under the floorboards but still there with power off to house.

It's the rat's fridge then

Intriguing indeed!
I’d turn the water supply off in the road, or wherever it is, then open a cold tap to release any residual pressure and see what happens there.

I was going to suggest that perhaps you are experiencing tinnitus without being aware of it, but if your neigbours can also hear the noise in your house (but not theirs), then that rules out tinnitus.

I have weird hearing noises - I can hear an engine running in the distance sort of noise but its just me - tinnitus I suppose but only in the dead of night when it its totally silent, it does not bother me as I have to listen for it to hear it and its there if I listen for it otherwise its white noise and I do not hear it it like my brain just ignores it.

Thanks it's definitely not Tinnitus as others can hear it. I just had a new light fitted and the electrician could also hear it.

I think I had that with an led dedicated dimmer switch if I listened closely I could hear a hum
I hear your pain ( pun ) same as an odd smell you can not trace - we found it in the end - it was some chicken we forgot about defrosting in the microwave. Kind of omnipresent but unable to pinpoint.

Do you have a battery operated doorbell?
Mine has a very faint buzz that drove me mad until I discovered it.
I was the only one who could hear it and my wife thought I was mad.
Turned out my hearing is better than it should be at my age.
Anyhow, look for any battery operated device and let us know.

My key fob on my old van could ring doorbells. only a few but it did it somehow.
