WHY NOT BOX IT IN.

IT IS SAFE UNLESS YOU HAVE MATES THAT STILL PLAY THE "LOOK HOW HIGH I CAN PEE" GAME.

OH DEAR MY CAPS SEEM TO BE LOCKED, ah that's better.

Please don't post with caps locked it comes over as rude shouting etc..

MY NEWBUILD HOUSE, ~~~~~~ IS THIS LEGAL
If the building control officer from the local council passed it as compliant then it is "legal". If he or she didn't pass it as compliant then its "legality" may be in doubt.

So go and ask them if they did pass it.

The location of the consumer unit is perfectly legal, providing the enclosure and covers are given the relevant IP protection.
Maybe not an ideal location/environment but not illegal and leaning on them is not advised, can you not get two hands on your manhood?

Why would you want to lean on anything while urinating? Unless you often use this toilet while inebriated.

If you have to, maybe it's best to sit down, in which case you will no longer be near the CU, so no bother.
