Do you guys have contracts for workers. If so how do you go about writing one up. Or on the other hand do you have a written contract for the company you work for.

In what context?

Are you:
Appointing a person to undertake specific works
Employing a person to work for you
Sub-contracting work to a person

etc etc

Employing a person to work for me. So we have it in writing the holidays he gets etc. ATM it's all just spoke about. I wondered if contracts were the way to go

Just download a template for a contract of employment.

I presume you know you have to pay a pension, must have employers liability insurance......etc etc

Everybody has a contract.

If you make the mistake of not agreeing in advance what it is, in writing, then it might not be what you thought it was, and if necessary the Court will decide.

Try here for some other aspects

Payroll, PAYE, NI and pensions is a whole new job for you. Your accountant might offer the service, for a fee, or recommend a local company.
