Hello,

I plan to replace a single light in the room with 8 LED ceiling lights but I want to control them as 2 pairs of 4 lights. I want to use a 2 gang 1 way switch to control them, there is only a single cable that comes to the switch thus I want to use is as Live to a large Wago junction box. Is below lighting diagram correct? (I will mark the cables in the switch o indicate they are all going to be live)

Thanks.

Well - the diagram is correct in one way but we cannot use the green and yellow as a live conductor from the switch.

Earth must still be run to each item even if not required.

To the switches, you need to replace any existing cable with a suitable length of
1 mm² 3-Core & Earth Cable,
in lieu of that which you have proposed.

I used a wireless relay. But could also use smart bulbs

However, you could use "kinetic" switches and their associated "Receivers".
One "Brand" for such a product is Quinetic.
