Hi - I'm new to these forums, but have just bought my first place so have a feeling I'll be coming back more often!

I have a guest WC (just basin and toilet) which I have no need for (it's a 2 bed flat and this is right next to the main bathroom) - and I want to convert this into a walk in wardrobe from the neighbouring main bedroom.

I would need to do three things:

1) block off the existing toilet and basin and remove them.
2) build a wall where the current door to the WC is.
3) create a new door to walk-in-wardrobe from main bedroom.

What I need help with is:

1) I'm assuming this is possible but do you think it would be a very hard thing to do (plan to use a local builder)?
2) how much do you think something like this might cost?
3) is there likely to be any planning issues?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

No planning issue - but as its a flat check with your lease/landord for this type of work

It's relatively easy to cut and cap services. But there may be some element of awkwardness

Cost wise it could be anything - get 3 quotes
