Cooker and Hob Trailing PVC Flex?

My Ceramic Hob is 6Kw and the Oven is 2.5Kw.
The cable run from the CU to the Isolation switch is 6sqmm.
Why is the Flex that connects the Hob onlt 2.5sqmm and the Oven only 1.5sqmm?

Both no longer than 2m.

Can both these connect to the same isolation switch?

Your oven requires only a 13 amp supply. This can be afforded by a 13 amp socket and plug top on the cooker circuit.
