cooker/hob supply

hob requires 30amp supply and the oven requires 20amp supply. question? hob is on one side of the kitchen and is supplied with 30amp from the ccu by 4mm cable and the oven is oppisite. can i use the main cooker switch to supply both appliances,

  That will count as notifiable work, so you'll need to be telling the local authority before you start work.

  The outside box can be changed for a socket provided that:
  
  1. the work is notified to the local authority before work starts (and you pay a fee) or you get a registered electrician to do the work.
