We’ve just had a new kitchen fitted - well mostly, some is still being done. There’s a couple of things that don’t seem quite right, I’ve asked the fitter but am hoping for a 2nd opinion.
The cooker hood (Zanussi ZHC92352X) sounds a bit “wowy”. The fitter removed the duct and it sounded ok without it, then refitted the flexible pipe and it sounds better but not perfect. He says it could be the duct and it would need him to cut into the ceiling to check. We don’t remember this from the last extractor, he says it could be that the new one is more powerful. Any ideas what this could be?
2nd thing is the sealant finish isn’t great, we have metro tiles over a Howdens compact laminate worktop which isn’t smooth. The fitter says that it’s impossible to properly smooth because of the bevels and the textured worktop finish. Again is there a way round this?
Thinking of asking for quotes to fix, at least to get a 2nd opinion.
