Hi

I have a cooker hood that sits between two wall cabinets.
These wall cabinets don't touch the hood (there is a bout a 2 inch gap either side)

Do I tile up to the bottom of the hood (either side of the cabinets) or what?

I could tile up to
the bottom of the units
to the top of the splashback
just above the lowest point of the hood.

Is there a standard? I get mixed reviews about putting full tiles on the worktop and working up to the nearest FULL tile.

Maybe it is just preference

cheers

Its your choice, or the cooks! Tiles are mostly so you can wipe down the work top without taking emulsion off the wall, height up to you, but yes easier to work to full tiles saves little cuts under units.
We tile up to bottom of extract to catch the grease splashes.
