hi. it trips out the bottom half sockets. im using the control switch on the cookerhood itself. it starts of in the 0 position, then i move to 1 to 2 then to 3.working fine only when i move it back down to the 0 position it trips the lecky.?
So it trips a number of circuits rather than just the one?
If so sounds like the RCD is tripping, do MCB trip switches stay in the on position and to re-energise you actually just reset the RCD looks similar to this?
Perhaps a photo will speak 1,000 words. One of the consumer unit after it has tripped and a close up of the MCB that has tripped. Maybe even a photo of the hood and its surroundings too.
Also, does this happen every time you turn it off or just occasionally?
