Two-fold Question...

Firstly... About to move house. Under Part P can I disconnect my cooker and connect it in new house?

Secondly... The new house is actually NEW and on the viewing I notice to 3-pin sockets instead of a cooker point. Their is a fuse in the junction box marked Cooker and a cooker isolation switch. it is being looked at next week by the builders to see what is under the covers!! Would you recommend an electircal survey on the property??

Secondly

Yes I would recommended a Periodic Inspection Report for anyone buying a house (even new houses can be a nightmare electrically - no kidding).
Prefferably before you buy.

Firstly, such a PIR will help you ascertain the suitabillity for you existing cooker connecting along with lots of other things.
