its like the coil its a hostile environment so doesn't aid life but may or may not effect covid to an extent
the danger is when people think they have a safe barrier around them and in fact they do not

Study didn't account for UV, though its UVC that has the best ability to destroy virions. Unfortunately, it would also fry anyone who was exposed.
