Hi, the copper cylinder in my new house has become compressed, almost as if someone had banged it on all sides with a hammer. It is a dual coil cylinder which facilitates an oil boiler and a wood burnind g stove with back boiler. The wood burning stove in my sitting area becomes hot to the touch when my oil burner has been running for about 2 hours. Also, the expansion tank in the attic is hot to the touch all over. I think I have big problems - can anyone comment?

This should only ever happen if the vent is blocked and the cold feed valve shut. Are they?

Classic! Any chance of a pic?

Have you checked that the system is full of water?
