Hi All,

Simple question - replacing my hot water cylinder. What are the pro's and cons regarding copper vs stainless cylinders. Any preferences?

TIA

Stainless steel cheaper, no disadvantages on standard set-up (Y- or S- plan
pumped primaries, if indirect cyl) Longer warrantee.

If your going stainless, get one with a secondry return. You'll never manage to drill an essex flange on stainless (and keep it leak free) if you ever need one. Otherwise, yeah..... stainless all the way - tappings already fitted, and cheaper.
