Hi,
I'm going to be using Timberlok to join maybe 20 pressure treated pine sleepers.... Current drill would just be embarassing but (1) I'm v unlikely to do many more jobs like this and (2) I don't do enough DIY to justify a beefy Makita impact driver (though they look great) and I'm probably fooling myself if I even buy cordless as I get about 3 hours a year to do DIY til unsleeping kids are much older....
Ryobi do a corded 1100w hammer/driver drill (B&Q and elsewhere) for about £70 (EID8002RE), but with no published details on torque I can find, and I know that wattage does not always mean high troque....
Any advice gratefully accepted, whether about the specific drill or the minimum spec you recommend
Thanks a lot,
