Correct cable

What is the correct cable to use from a ptz controller to the camera itself? The controller has +and- and cam has yellow wire +and orange - thanks in advance.

More info needed ….is the camera already fitted with power ? What make and model ? Is the cable running outside ?

It is outside and yes has power supply these are the cables .

Belden twisted or cat 5 will work fine , external grade if you are clipping it outside , normal if in conduit or direct from rear , in all fairness if it’s a short run 10 m even alarm cable will work ..

I’ve tried alarm cable but when using it reboots the camera ? For instance after a couple seconds of use maybe 5/6 it reboots I’ve used two controllers and does the same .

It’s just a data connection ….camera may be faulty ? It’s not a branded unit
