Hi guys and girls

Trying to connect my new back to wall pan to waste!!
Glued or somehow fixed into my floor is what looks like a 90 deg pan connector (downstairs toilet/with new flooring).

Old Toilet connected to this lovely. New pan needs an extension.
Got an extendable mcalpine connector but it's got the kind of finned seal (like most seem to have) to go into a 110mm waste pipe.

Am I correct in thinking this shouldn't go into a pan connector rubber seal?
What I was going to do was cut a piece of 110mm soil pipe push this in and then connect the new pan connector?

Tried but can't get the existing pipe/rubber seal to accept the 110mm pipe. (Back of pan is just over a 100mm dia, which I think is standard).
Could force it more but didn't want to damage it as it its glued into floor!

Is this the way to go?

the 110 soil should fit you need to taper end of 110 pipe put some grease or washing up liquid on rubber seal and give a good push as it will be a tight fit but it will go
