Hello,
I serviced my mums BBU today. It's a baxi bermuda, which hasn't had a service for two years.

The heat exchanger isn't in great condition, it is corroded on the right hand side and has sagged, as you can see in the picture.

My opinion is that it might be better to replace the boiler which is 13 years old rather than fit a new heat exchanger.

I'm just wondering what other peoples opinions are???[/img]

well you wanna do something quick  . thats a nasty waterleak about to happen. the rods holdong the 2 parts of the hex are failing. cheaper to repair if ,oney is tight, but yeah ideally change the boiler for safety efficiency reasons.
