trying to replace the disks but can't remove caliper arm as there is a bolt that has a head on that i've never seen before and can't find in any store i've been into plz help someone

Are you refering to the bolts that hold the caliper onto the struts? If so if I remember rightly they're allen bolts, you might see them here

If They are hex (allen) fasteners, halfords do them in 3/4 or 1/2 drive sizes. Don't take my word for it but it will probably be 8mm. I have just replaced the disks/pads on a citroen xantia and that was what the caliper guide bolt was, the two bolts holding the caliper to the hub being torx fasteners.

I think the ones holding the caliper to the carrier are 7mm and the ones holding the carrier to the strut are 10mm.
