What would the approx cost be to build a brick outbuilding 6ft x 4ft. Flat roof with one window. No internal plastering. I live in the manchester area.

My shed, wood, cost a lot more, due to the base and the power, and the lining.

The same applies for brick built. Planning permission varies, if a listed building, distance from boundary, height, when I google I get results for Wales.

There is a limit of courses which can be laid, within a set time, this also varies depending on the mortar used. But you are likely looking at three visits of the bricklayer, and they tend to charge by the half day.

There is a reason for plastic, tin, and wood sheds, they are cheaper, we put up a metal secure shed for a lawn mower, 5 of us, there all day, and that did not include foundations. The SDS drill never seemed to stop. I say day, more like 5 hours, but I never expected it to take so long, took my battery drills with 4 batteries, and two others also brought their drills. I think I had one battery left, and reason for metal is it is cheaper than brick.

Pointless getting the trowel out for a building of that size, what's the intended use?
