1. hot water tap in a kitchen. when i open the tap a little bit, the water runs slowly, when i open a little bit more, at certain point it shoots the water and the vibration starts. in order to stop it, have to open tap more, or close a little bit. it only occurs in a kitchen. really really drives me mad. changed the tap, same is happening. no way to do dishes without getting that vibration.

2. water temp in a shower. when heat hit uk, hot water temp in shower started to go up and down. it is all fine at the start and then it starts to go coldish, then back to hot, coldish, back to hot. and the longer i take the shower, the colder it gets at the low point.
let the water run, went to have a look at the boiler. the display was showing: yellow light on, temperature 65, then yellow off, temperature drops to 60, yllow back on, temp going up to 65, then yellow off again and so on and so on. not enjoying my showers anymore :(
had the same problem last year, called boiler insurer, they changed something and it was fine. now it is back again. is there a reason why it is happening again ?

if i knew that all this is cause by boiler, i would get a replacement. but i have no freaking idea !

pls help. or maybe one of you descent and honest plummers are around west london ? or anywhere in london ? cause i don't know what to do. if someone could sort the tap, i will give a little bonus on top of fee.

You dont say which boiler model. Sounds like a Vaillant but which model?

The tap problem would probably be cured by fitting an isolating valve used as a flow restrictor to tune out the pipe resonance you seem to be getting.

At the prices we charge no one usually wants to give any bonus. Nor do we expect it.

how much would you charge to fix the tap ?

We dont discuss doing work for anyone on the open forum.

If you want to contact anyone then look at their profile for contact informat and if none then you can sometimes send them a PM.

Thats only for boiler repairs in our local area! Its also for a near same day response.

Plumbing work is cheaper! You dont have to pay G-S to do that and unless leaking is not urgent so slower response equals a less costly charge. Its also at a fixed price regardless of the time taken unlike those who charge by the hour and spin out the time taken!

In this case its something of an unknown quantity but in my view only cowboyplumbers charge if they dont effect a fix!

anybody else would like to help me solving the tap problem ? cause it seems AGILE has disappeared ... or decided not to bother with me ...

No not disapeared, just not been in your direction lately and been sorting out MOT repairs but that should be finished tomorrow.

I was also hoping you could get further with your sludged up system.

I will contact you tomorrow.

don't think my system is sludged up, only black water inside.
i have days-off on tuesday and wednesday. so you are more than welcome to come on these days.

Black water shows that there is a lot of dirt in the system.

If it has not caused a problem already then it probably will do soon. It is not covered by any of the insurance covers.

Looks like next Tuesday then.

Tony

all i can say is that "Agile" is a GENIUS !!!
i can't thank enough !
