Covid Vaccines For The Five To Eleven Year Olds - Your take?????????

My family and I are all for covid vaccines for the 12+
I've not discussed this with our children but ATM
I am uncertain about the necessity of vaccines, especially those
in the lower age range of this 5 to 11 group.

My family and I will debate this over the next few days.
We will see what the media has to add IE
information from respected sources and I don't mean WHO
or our government but respected scientists/doctors/etc.

We may decide in favour and give our support to these
based on the circumstances as they stand and will review these
if the circumstances change.

Children will be offered two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, to be administered at least 12 weeks apart. The vaccines will be a third of the strength of those administered to adults.

Children don't need the covid vaccine, and it doesn't work anyway. All state spending on covid should stop and anybody still wanting tests, masks and vaccines etc should pay for them out of his own pocket.

No doubt many thousands of families will be having ( or have already had ) the same debate. 0nly they will not be broadcasting that fact

Respected by people who do not have the knowledge to judge the ability of the scientists/doctors/etc they respect.

This is why we are debating this as many as saying children don't need the vaccine. We will analyse info from those that we respect most and see how the roll out goes before deciding. Ultimately it's the parent's decision but like all good, decent, educated children they do listen to their parents.

Re masks/tests. I disagree and feel that the most vulnerable as is now should remain free.

Tell that to the parents of dead children, or children that have been disabled by covid.

Also important for children that live with vulnerable adults.

It's about reducing risk.

Covid kills the very old and the very ill, not children. I don't want anyone denied any vaccine, but nor do I want anyone to be forced to have any. Pay for it if you want it, don't expect me to. We are experiencing real, hard inflation now because of the over-reaction to covid.

Without the vaccine we would still having lots of deaths during Covid waves.

Emotional blackmail alert! Covid ss just a cold. In rare cases it causes complications, as colds always have.
