Hi

Does anyone have an opinion as to which is best - plaster or lightweight cornicing? I am a little concerned as to how easy it is to hide the joints on light weight coving

When you say lightweight coving, do you mean like the polystyrene stuff or the one thats kinda like a moulded plastic?

I've put up plaster coving myself and I prefer it to the lightweight stuff, which I originally tried thinking it would be easier. Needless to say, I didn't like the lightweight stuff and took it down.

No not the polystyrene coving but you can the dense foam ones, which actually cost a little more than plaster
