whats the going rate to charge for one of these, 1, 2, 3 appliances etc?? 
Depends on geographical location and the Quality of the work, i.e some engineers carry out a full service prior to CP12, others only complete the requirement of the CP12, which does not involve any cleaning of the appliance, just basic safety tests, so basically you get what you pay for, I'm not going to start yet another diynot ding dong by talking prices!
