Crack in brick work - any comments?

Specific events cause cracking in specific ways, so it is possible to say with a high degree of certainty what the cause is from a picture.

Vertical cracks like this one, on the external face of a domestic property, between/beneath openings, and of even thickness which go straight through bricks or blocks ...... are an indication of lateral movement only, and not related to any other rotation or deflection of the wall.

Had something similar looking at our old house in Dorset near Weymouth, survey listed it as bomb damage from WW2 . . .
