Cracked underside of table

As you can see in the links above, the corner join of my kitchen table is cracked - does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this? I would like to keep the cracked wood as the opposite side is veneered/laminated to match the table top.

I'm trying the obvious route (getting the shop to replace it!) but in case my lack of a receipt causes problems....

remove the corner bracket remove the piece off wood clean up make shure it goes back together flat get some screws that are 3mm shorter than the countersunk depth
drill 4countersunk holes in the broken off piece only avoiding the areas around the bracket screwholes
use a good quality wood glue clamp and screw together allow 24 hrs to set
reasemble table

if the repair fails it is NOT worth trying to glue again a new rail will be required
