What would cause the tiles to crack in my shower?
They are mounted on hardi-backer and so the backing is stable (I'd assume). This is affixed to a stud-wall.
The tray itself sits on a single 22mm board, inset into and the same thickness as the adjacent floorboards. The main bathroom door is on the same stud partition wall.
I'm assuming it's the opening and closing of the door causing slight movement in the whole lot.
I can cut out and replace the tiles but, how do I stop / minimise it from happening again?
