does anyone have any idea why after having painted my dinning
room in white dulux one coat matt emulsion it has a cracking crazed
effect . and how do i fix this problem ! many thanks .
Id go over the whole lot again with 'real' paint...the one coat stuff can be far to thick and 'dry'
When paint dries the paint film shrinks as thewater evapourates, and the pigment joins together ..if it cant 'grip' to whatever you have put it on then it will crack and craze.
The more pigment in a paint the less flexibility it has so it cant cope with the shirkage and the lack of adhesion to the coating underneath
