This follows on from mb's post about being rear-ended.

I got this image in an e-mail today.

Please remember, we all go out in the morning, but only some of us come home in the evening.

That something which means we don't come home could be as simple as a small lapse in concentration or an error of judgement.

I always wonder how coach and bus designers get away with having the driver sat so far forward. I note some new coaches even have a "bubble" on the front bodywork for the drivers legs and pedals etc! All that weight coming down on a few inches of metal, its bound to buckle in a crash.

not strictly true.. there are many people that go home on an evening and never go out again..

My friend from school was one..
he went out christmas eve when he was 22, went home complaining of feeling ill, his mother went to wake him on christmas morning ( lived at home wit his parents ), only to find him dead in his bed...
