I am putting a flat roof on my brick built garage - 20ft by 14ft - and want to create a decent fall. Firrings seem difficult to organise in these lengths. Would it be easier just to make one wall a course of brick higher?

Just get the firrings made in 3 parts and put them together to make a complete long one.
