Creda Excel 1200 tripping sockets circuit breaker

HI,

Our Creda washing machine is tripping our circuit breaker when plugged in. It was just filling with water then power went to ground floor.

I'm am part P qualified, although proficient in boilers and heating systems, not very experienced with washing machines.

Any ideas on any fault finding, possible faults and what I can expect to pay for spares?
