hello
I installed a wooden stove 6 kw with a vertical 1,9 m stove pipe (120mm diameter) directly to the roof (concrete+roof tiles) + 1,5 stove pipe above the roof. (La Nordica Max 6 kw panoramica)
30 minutes after starting to burn it is condensing and getting creosote inside everywhere like liquid.
i tried to insert another 110mm pipe inside the outer part of the pipe (starting from the concrete part to avoid the cold )
now it is normalized somehow but still has some minor leakages

I cannot thermoisolate hte pipes because it is fixed with concrete and it is 120 mm diameter.
any advice will help me
thanks

I was going to point you to Part J of the building regulations, but realised you are in Albania ;-)

The part of the flue outside the building ought to be be twin-wall insulated pipe, to avoid the very problem you describe...

Cheers

now I'm having another problem with the smoke, when I start the kitchen aspiration it sucks smoke from the stove :(

Could have sworn I'd replied to this. Anyway:

UK building regs would require fixed ventilation for a stove with an output over 5 kW, and not permit an extractor fan in the same space (I assume this is what you mean by "aspiration"). This is to ensure that the stove can draw properly, and that smoke and deadly carbon monoxide are not drawn back into the room.

I'd suggest making sure that there is adequate ventilation near the stove (can an air brick be added, to the outisde?), and not running the kitchen extraction while using the stove. The stove will draw air and remove smells in any case.

Cheers
Richard

yes I will install an air brick there and I will not use the the kitchen extraction while using the stove

I will add also these tiles to ensure better weather insulation
maybe if I add a spinning cowl it will suck more smoke ??[/img]

can i remove the 120 mm diammeter pipe outside and build a new chimney with tiles (bricks ) 150mm diammeter ??
or it is not helping me with the condensation ??
