Hi folks,

Last year we planted 30 crocus bulbs under the lawn. This spring, all of them sprouted good strong leaves, and then seven of them flowered simultaneously. The other 23 have still not flowered and I don't think they are going to.

Any idea why not?

Thanks,
Mark

fret not i have many gardens where crocuses flowered last year but still aren't out yet and other gardens where they are.

The weirdly warm weather (at least here in Northern Ireland) is playing havoc with flowering times.

Give them a while yet and if all else fails feed them after your sure they are not coming and at least they'll be good for next year

Thanks both. Still no sign of flowers or buds, but perhaps we'll see some next year.
