I found an app called Flightradar24.
You'd be absolutely amazed at the amount of aircraft in the skies at any one time.
A great app for those interested.
Already got it, but only the free version (I'm a Yorkie).

Not sure how to put the photo in my post but this is a screenshot of the UK flights for those interested.
Please note the planes are not to scale

I used FlightRadar24 to follow the Canadian Lancaster along its route through Labrador, Greenland, Iceland etc before it landed at Conningsby in Lincolnshire.
It gives you altitude, air speed, rate of ascent/descent etc.
If you pick a plane and click the follow button it will keep track of it. But note: If you have the free version it will time you out every half hour. Simply click the refresh button and it will continue to track.
Been bookmarked in my favourites for a number of years now.
It did function up until a few weeks ago.
I had a similar problem with the auto trader app only 2 days ago whilst trying to show my pal a van I am buying. My phone couldn't access the site. He showed me how to go into the app settings and it(mobile data)was turned off which surprised me as I'd used it previously.
Worth a look in settings.
