Neo liberalism is the resurgence of old classic laissez faire ideas on economics that concern privatization, deregulation, austerity etc and have proven to actual cause more harm than good. So yes I will describe them as failed policies or are you saying the debt mountains both public and private as well as growing inequality are some things to shout about.

As to who holds these ideas - well the majority of the Conservatives and about half of labour and most of New Labour.

Look at the OBR projections and tell me how pathetic our growth and productivity is for a developed nation.
