I need to replace some metal gutters that have been fabricated by welding into a curve.

I would like to replace these with PVC, but don't want to do it with lots of joining pieces, how feasible would it be to do this? Can PVC be 'welded'? Will the solvent for wastepipes work on PVC gutters?

Any suggestions gratefully received

i've never seen curved guttering, a house being built my a friend of a friend had a curved bit of roof until i mentioned guttering, he could not find any and nor could the arcitech!!. I've tried making guttering curve for the above house but the plastic they make it out of is crap. the best option i think would be to get a gutter made from copper and solder the joints, but its a skilled job so costly.
