We have bought large grey tiles for the main part of our bathroom which are going to be laid one above the other and not brick effect.
However we’ve also bought brick effect mosaic tiles for a feature half way up the bath vertically.
As the mosaic tiles are brick effect, on the sheet every other mosaic tile sticks out so there’s not a flat edge.
Can every other small mosaic tile be cut so there’s a flat edge, so it’ll be flat against the main tiles? Our plumber doesn’t seem to think it’ll look ok.
The other option is to rotate the sheet 90 degrees and have the cut edges at the top and bottom.
What would you usually do?
Thanks in advance.
