Trusses usually wins every time.

Nonsense. I'm just not factoring in the fact you have unlimited 'free' labour.

Trusses dont win here thou. Get your calculator out and do the maths noseall!

Why would you not factor in the "fact" i have unlimted free labor here when i clearly state it from the offset! Here in ireland we still have something called the family unit where we all help out free when we can. This might be difficult for you to understand but its something we still cherish! You might put a price on everything but us, we dont!

Your really embarraasing yourself here tbh and its actually amusing you cant see it. I suggest you go back to page one, read all posts and hopefully youll have a lightbulb moment and see your the one spouting nonsense on this thread and see sense!

On another note since your commenting, what would you recommend way i shpuld price this up? Really interested in your opinion on this since your so strongly giving your opinion!

For what ita worth, Theres no malice intended with my post here however youre replies here are on the bonkers side.

Forgetting maths and labour, it depends on how long you want the job to take, trusses 1 week and the cut roof 3 weeks.

Theres no time scale on it. Its a rural site and im just going to tip away at it any days im avaiable to. Wknds or rainy days off.

This Cut roof wont take another 2 weeks. Where are you getting an extra two weeks from. Its a simple roof to do. No way itll take 3 men two weeks "extra" to cut the joist, rafters and errect. 2-3 days or 4max itll be ready for battens and felt. Another day before this to install the steel.

1-2 days for the trusses if go this route.
