I have just purchased a cutlery tray (450x475mm, plastic) described as:

General purpose cutlery tray
A vacuum formed tray with a wide flange around the outside so that it can be cut down to fit the exact size of almost any drawer.

Do you have any guidance on what/how is the best way to cut the flange without ruining the tray?

Many thanks,
