Hi all
Laying 12m2 20mm porcelain.
150x900 edges are in and even with a 115mm thin 1.4mm blade I had tiny chips. I made them better with a 40 grade flap disc.
I used an RDX super thin disc. -
I'm now onto the 600x900 and thinking what's the best process. People saying not to use a 9"
Grinder unless I rent a proper wet cutter.
I ve heard good reviews on the Abracs discs from Screwfix.
I've also been told not to score the disc lightly and cut as u usually would with stone BUT to cut all te way through and ti carry that all the way?
I can add water easily as there's two of us.
Any recommendations greatly accepted.
Laid several full slabs today with 5mm wedge spacers easily enough.
Plus buttered backs with proper slurry etc.
Anyone recommend cut process/disc?
I think I'm being to fussy tbh as I've seen some terrible cuts on other jobs.
Cheers.
