I have got to cut some 15mm and 22mm copper pipes which are close to the wall also a little difficult to get at and I was thinking of getting two Kopex slicers which I would just be assemble to the pipes ok but then how do you turn them round ?

Before the days of pipe slices there used to be a really easy tool to use to cut pipes in difficult places , it was called the apprentice  .
Dont use anything but nowadays an absolute godsend

Small angle grinder with a wafer disc is very good assuming space is available for the body. :D
