Cutting existing truss roofing

hi

I’m not sure if anyone can help with such minimal info but if more info is required I should be able to get it.

So I’ve had an extension built, the roof on the original house is sloped left to right and the extension is front to back so the extension roof is cut into the existing roof and the lofts meet.

I’ve removed the old roof tiles but I wondered what I could cut out of the existing roof (pic attached) and what bracing I would need to install.
